Editorial Guidelines to Articles Publication


iArticles.com.au endeavours to provide its our readers and publishers with good quality & relevant contents, which are not only authentic (originally written contents) but are also effectively written.


For us to publish your articles on our site, your articles must be wrtten in English, and meet our quality & format guidelines set below:

 

1) Original Contents:

You need to ensure that Articles are original and not plagiarised.


2) Relevance:

Articles are to be submitted to the most relevant category, and not to several categories. Multiple category submission will be considered as spam, hence your article will not only fail publication, but may also result in your Author account being suspended if found to be abused.

 

3) No Affiliate Links:

Please do not include links to Affiliate program.


4) Title:

Your Article Title must meet the minimum or maximum characters as specified. No CAPITAL LETTERS or Titles in UPPER CASE. About 70-80 characters is recommended for better search engine results.

 

5) Article Body:

To hold about 250 words minimum and maximum of 12,000 characters.
HTML tags are allowed within the body of the article which are:

"< br />, < p >, < b >, < i >, < u > and < a href >". HTML Tags are easily created using the Editor tool.

 

6) Links or Hyperlinks:

From 1st August 2010, the following Hyperlink/s may be allowed:

1 Hyperlink may be allowed in each Article pointing to your own website, and 1 to another site. OR

2 Hyperlinks may be allowed in each Article, pointing to your own website or another site, provided you add a link of www.iarticles.com.au (with Text: Articles Marketing Directory) on your site as a Reciprocal link. Our Editors will first review your website to ensure you've added a link pointing to iarticles.com.au, before approving & publishing your article.  Your article must still meet all editorial guidelines to ensure quality and adherence.

Premium Members may be allowed upto 4 Hyperlinks, provided the articles meet quality & adherence guidelines. To learn more, go to Premium Member Packages

 

Hyperlinks within the Heading of an article will not be allowed.

 

7) About the Author:

This information may include up to 2 hyperlinks in Author’s Profile.

 

8) Article Summary:

Articles must have a summary (up to 500 characters or less), to give readers a brief of your profile. No HTML tags are accepted within the summary. Hyperlinks are only allowed in the main body of your article and within Author profile.

 

9) Keywords or Search Terms:

You may add up to 10-15 most relevant words that describe your article, or you think that are searchable words (think what the reader will type in to search), to be separated by comma.  Any irrelevant keywords submitted may be removed to improve results.

 

10) No Obscene Contents:

Please note that we do not encourage nor entertain articles promoting Adult products or services, porn, escort, violence, drugs, or other illegal material, etc.  In general, articles that can cause harm to the general audience will not be allowed, since our target audience is all age groups.

KEYWORD RICH ARTICLE TITLE:

Your article title is important, so make sure your title has rich keywords.  Always remember that your first few words in your TITLE contributes to the success of your article, i.e. traffic generation and the relevance it may get from search engines.


Example below:

Do Not write Keywords Title as: Top 10 tips on saving water


Do write them as: Save Water – Top 10 tips on saving water


Note that your most effective or relevant keywords should start at the begining of the Title.

 

Do Not stuff your Title with lots of Keywords
